We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing care and support to children who may display learning difficulties or challenging behavior. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to children, including personal care, meal preparation, and activities
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the children's teams and other professionals
  • Monitor and report any changes in the children's behavior or well-being
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' paid experience in children's care in the UK in the last 3 years
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A good standard of English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively
  • An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
  • Suitable references to cover the last 3 years of employment
