Job Overview

As a Quality Director at William Grant & Sons, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance and standards to optimize product quality and meet customer expectations. This position requires a seasoned Quality professional with experience in the luxury/premium market, team management, and New Product Development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the Luxury Quality Team to maximize achievement and engagement.
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance Processes, deploying quality standards that meet requirements across the organization.
  • Contribute to New Product Development activities, ensuring quality requirements and customer expectations are integrated into all new products and supplier standards are available on time.
  • Collaborate with NPD to develop, implement, and maintain Luxury Quality standards for new products, ensuring clear communication to manufacturing and quality teams.
  • Investigate customer/consumer complaints, supporting complaint handling processes and working with teams to establish root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage Supplier Quality performance, including supplier audits and supplied material non-conformances, validating and verifying corrective actions.
  • Manage non-conforming products and processes, facilitating root-cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions to drive a 'Right First Time' approach.
  • Complete data analysis and trending to report performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in Quality leadership, preferably in the luxury/premium market.
  • Team management experience.
  • Background in implementing and maintaining quality standards.
