Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Managed Services team at Proactive Appointments. As a remote working Network Security & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure network architecture, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
  • Configure and manage network devices, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and HP Servers.
  • Implement and manage virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi and VSAN.
  • Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on network security and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our clients' networks remain secure and compliant.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in network security and infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi and VSAN.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, including system hardening, least privilege, and segregation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
