Job Summary
Mitie is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake all necessary training to deliver high-quality cleaning services.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and under your own initiative to achieve excellent results.
- Adhere to Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain designated areas to a high standard of cleanliness, completing daily, weekly, and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Ensure effective and efficient service delivery, meeting all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
- Ensure security protocols are followed, including locking doors and adhering to lost property procedures.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to facilities.
- Be familiar with all cleaning equipment, materials, and approved chemicals used by Mitie.
- Set a good example in terms of dress, behavior, punctuality, and attendance.
- Ensure all Safeguarding Policies are adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety protocols while on school premises.
- Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
Requirements
- Cleaning experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
- Capable of working to your own initiative where appropriate.
- Be open and honest.
- Be self-driven and determined.
- Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
