Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Tamworth Borough Council as a Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including repairs, investment, and planned maintenance schemes, to deliver the Council's corporate and housing repairs and capital programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and project manage a full range of repairs, investment, and planned maintenance schemes to deliver the Council's corporate and housing repairs and capital programme.
- Work closely with the Senior Technical Officer to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Manage building and maintenance work, including ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing building and maintenance work.
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
