Cencora is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated equipment, including compressors, label printers, strapping machines, and manual barcode scanners.
- Ensure a comprehensive stock of spare parts is available to support the automated systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Liaise with internal agencies to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of the automated systems.
- Assist in staff training on the safe operation and maintenance of automated equipment.
- Perform additional technical duties as required.
- Broad-based knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, with a minimum of 2 years' technical experience in computer-controlled machinery.
- Experience with pneumatics, conveying systems, and compressed air.
- Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
This role requires manual handling tasks, including lifting and bending. The successful candidate will be required to undergo training on Good Distribution Practice of Medicinal Products for Human Use (2013/C 343/01) and adhere to our SOP - REF Chapter 1 AHDL GDP 1.1.
