Commercial Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team at Rapid Response FM. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize commercial premises, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
- Manage waste disposal, including emptying bins, recycling, and handling hazardous materials in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain restrooms, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms with necessary supplies.
- Apply disinfectants to high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Polish, buff, and deep clean carpets and hard floors.
- Operate specialized cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and steam cleaners.
Requirements:
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to work away from home for up to a week at a time.
- At least 2 years of cleaning experience.
- High attention to detail.
Requirements Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in specialist cleaning, trauma scene cleaning, or a related field preferred.
- Certification in biohazard cleaning, hazardous materials handling, or related training is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in challenging and diverse environments.
- Full UK driving license.
- Able to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning protocols for biohazards, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.
- Proficiency in using specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Emotional resilience and ability to manage stress effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work day time and night time shifts.
