Area Property Manager (Retirement Portfolio) – South England

Our client, a leading property management group, is seeking a skilled Area Property Manager to oversee the operational aspects of their Retirement Portfolio in the South of England.

This is a unique opportunity for a property management professional to apply their skills in a non-traditional role, focusing on team management, legislative compliance, and business opportunities.

  • Working a 35 hour week, predominantly from home, with regular site visits and weekly reporting to a Surrey/Hampshire borders office.
  • Managing staff and operations across 21 retirement community sites in Hampshire, Dorset, and East Sussex.
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
  • You will focus on operational matters such as team management, legislative compliance, relationships with key stakeholders, and business opportunities.
  • Referring business-critical matters back to head office as required.
  • This is a rare opportunity to progress your career in a related sector while applying your property management skillset in a new way.

Suitable candidates will have a thorough grounding in property management, excellent team management skills, and a genuine commitment to improving standards to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

This is not an operational role, so you will not be responsible for budgets or major works.
