Job Description

**About the Role**

Maintech Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients across the North of the UK and occasionally in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission new equipment at client sites, including operational training.
  • Attend client plants to perform service on cutting-edge grinding machinery.
  • Train client's maintenance and operating personnel in proper operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide progress on project work and update HQ as required.
  • Organize your own travel when working away and submit expenses.

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification or time-served apprentice with experience in a similar field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in machine maintenance.
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and flow charts.
  • Knowledge of fine grinding and dispersing equipment maintenance is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work away from home during the week across the UK.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary of £38,000.
  • Van or Estate Car provided.
  • Working Monday-Friday.
  • Travel expenses including food and accommodation paid for.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Pension.
