We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Individualized Support: Offer one-on-one or group support to SEN students in the classroom, tailored to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Assist teachers with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans, safeguarding the student's well-being and academic progress.
  • Classroom Management: Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students feel supported and valued.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to inform future support strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience Working with SEN Students: A minimum of 3 months' experience working with SEN students in the UK is essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and learning styles, ensuring a tailored approach to meet each student's needs.
  • Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach is crucial in supporting students with SEN, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS: An enhanced DBS is mandatory, and applicants must be willing to apply for a new one if necessary.
  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship is required.
