About the Role

Ortus PSR is seeking a highly skilled Senior Paraplanner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our financial planning department, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial planners to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of client information to understand their profiles and objectives.
  • Research and Planning: Gather necessary documentation and perform relevant research to develop accurate, compliant financial plans.
  • Compliance and Suitability: Maintain proper documentation for compliance and suitability, ensuring that all client recommendations meet the highest standards.
  • Cashflow Modelling: Prepare lifetime cashflow models to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with financial planners and support staff to ensure seamless delivery of client services.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all client work.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in financial planning software and IT tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ethical Standards: Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial products, including pensions, investments, and tax planning.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of paraplanning experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality client work.
  • Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
