Procurement Manager

Peabody is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to play a vital role in the strategic administration and management of our property services contracts.

About the Role
  • Monitor and manage works in progress, ensuring timely completion and addressing any issues or escalations effectively.
  • Collaborate with the wider Repairs & Maintenance directorate to improve data quality and support a shift towards proactive property management.
  • Support the Senior Contract Manager and regional operational teams in managing supply chain partners, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, value for money is achieved, and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong, effective relationships with partnering and in-house contractors, external agencies, and other departments to ensure services are delivered and maintained at agreed levels.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive, high-quality reports to stakeholders.
  • Use networking, negotiation, and influencing skills to enhance efficiencies and improve value for money across contracts.
Requirements
  • Experience in building pathology and specific experience of building maintenance.
  • Experience in managing/delivering property services contracts.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulation and process.
  • Commercial awareness with knowledge of budget management and planning and value for money.
  • Knowledge of current health & safety and other legislation relevant to the role.
  • Able to manage and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
