Year 2 Teacher Vacancy

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Year 2 teacher to join our team at a Good Ofsted-rated school in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. As a dedicated educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and contributing to their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching Year 2 in a mainstream primary or secondary school
  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Recognized teaching qualification, preferably a PGCE or Bachelor's degree in Education
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to engage learners
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with parents, staff, and students
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in the classroom
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning styles
