SEMH English Teacher Job Description

TEEM Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our SEMH school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure student success
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working in a SEMH/SEN school
  • Recent experience teaching English to the UK curriculum
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • A current enhanced DBS certificate
