About the Role:
Zest is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Advisor to join our team. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective HSEQ policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and site visits to monitor HSEQ performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on HSEQ matters, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop and implement HSEQ strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance metrics, including incident rates, near misses, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- 2 years health and safety, environmental, and/or quality experience in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
