Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Job Description

Pratap Partnership is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. As a strategic financial leader, you will play a crucial role in building and managing our finance function, contributing significantly to our company growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including cash flow, investments, insurance, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Coordinate the development of annual budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations, including SRA Accounting rules.
  • Conduct risk management, evaluate capital structure and fundraising initiatives, and provide strategic financial advice to inform key spending decisions.
  • Manage HR operations, monitor business performance, oversee financial IT systems, and ensure timely tax reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT, marketing, and other departments to align financial planning with overall business strategies.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience, strong financial and business management skills, and a proven track record in strategic planning and implementation. Experience in a regulatory environment, preferably within the legal sector, and the ability to scale operations in a growing SME is essential. Experience in business acquisitions is also desirable.
