Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Aerospace products and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical and Electrical Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of Aerospace products and components to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • In-Process Inspection: Monitor and inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to identify and address any quality issues.
  • First Article Inspection: Conduct inspections of new products or processes to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Quality Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Quality Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records and metrics.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to the shop floor as needed.
  • Auditing and Training: Conduct audits of approved operators and provide training to others in products and processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interpret engineering drawings, and experience with measuring equipment.
  • Education: City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, and GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and Science.
