Job Title: Probation Services Officer Accommodation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Probation Services Officer Accommodation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management support to individuals on probation, utilizing service procedures and practice directions to assess and manage risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with criminal courts, criminal justice agencies, and other partner agencies to assess and manage risk.
  • Supervise and manage risk of individuals on probation subject to community sentences, during and after custodial sentences.
  • Work with other agencies and groups to prevent crime and meet the needs of victims and individuals on probation.

Requirements:

  • High-level numeracy and literacy skills to read, understand, and interpret policies.
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths.

Working Arrangements:

The Ministry of Justice offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows. This role will involve working from a base location, different MoJ sites, and/or from home.
