We are seeking a Senior Manager of Operational Resilience to join our esteemed banking client. This role is pivotal in steering the resilience capabilities, advancing the organization-wide resilience initiative, and collaborating with various sectors of this prominent Bank and its external partners, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards. You will support teams in delivering robust solutions for clients, instilling resilience within the organizational culture, and facilitating a resilience risk and control framework that provides assurance at the board level, enabling a structured management approach.
This position is situated within a dynamic environment, presenting a diverse and engaging opportunity in the short term, while also paving the way for significant long-term career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving strategic enhancements in collaboration with senior executives across the organization, including Executive Committee members.
- Partnering with colleagues in the Resilience team to continuously refine our resilience framework and systems, focusing on areas such as Incident Management and Scenario Testing.
- Developing resilience strategies, policies, and frameworks.
- Implementing a resilience-by-design approach within Change Engagement initiatives.
- Providing leadership and serving as deputy to the Head of Resilience when necessary.
- Crafting the change engagement strategy for resilience.
- Creating educational and awareness support tools.
- Engaging with leadership across the organization, within the Group, and with industry peers.
- Participating in all resilience pillars, including Technology, Supply Chain, People, Property, and Data.
- Fostering an efficient and effective resilience culture within the Bank through appropriate processes and controls that align with our Agile@scale operating model.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Operational Resilience regulations and their implementation within an organization.
- Proven experience with Operational Risk frameworks and policy management.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on team development and enhancing colleague capabilities across the organization.
