Job Title: Senior Environmental Manager

Prax is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our environmental objectives are met during our exploration, appraisal, development, operations, and decommissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure compliance with environmental relevant statutory provisions throughout the full life-cycle of our onshore and offshore operations
  • Administer EEMS database, setting OSPAR EEMS requirements, preparation of OPEPS, Environmental Impact Assessments, and Environmental Statements
  • Propose and monitor against annual environmental targets and objectives
  • Record environmental training, exercise, and drills, and submit annual returns to BEIS
  • Liaise with other West of Shetland Operators to exchange relevant environmental information and lessons learned
  • Contract Owner for OSRL, Shetland Oils Spill Response
  • Lead environmental survey responses and consultations
  • Offshore audits and monitoring
  • Interface management with BES, TFMC, and PFML regarding environmental matters
Requirements:
  • Technical degree or equivalent with relevant application to the oil and gas industry
  • Chartered Member of a professional environmental body
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience of UKCS field development, specifically knowledge of associated reporting and operational requirements
  • Proven environmental leadership experience
  • Knowledge of current environmental indicators and techniques for enhancing EH&S performance, knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
