About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraiser to join our team at East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH). As a key member of our Community Fundraising Team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our community fundraising strategy, working closely with colleagues to drive fundraising success and support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community fundraising plans to meet income targets and grow relationships with existing supporters
  • Engage with local communities to raise money and awareness for our cause, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners
  • Proactively seek out new fundraising opportunities, identifying and developing innovative ways to increase income and support
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to embed a culture of fundraising success and support across the organisation
  • Meet income targets to ensure we can continue to support families across Suffolk, Essex, and East Anglia
  • Report on budgets and maintain accurate supporter records on our fundraising database
  • Deliver talks and presentations to organisations to secure long-term support and stewardship

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is a leading children's hospice charity providing specialist care and support to children and families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, and Suffolk. Our family-centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, counselling, and volunteer services in the family home, all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person, and whole family.

We employ around 400 employees and have more than 1,800 volunteers across the organisation, including 49 shops and a Retail Distribution Centre. Our people are central to our success, and we are committed to building a culture of inclusion where every individual feels valued and respected.
