Job Title: Strategic Financial Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Business Partner to join our team at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG). As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our client account teams in making informed strategic and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a finance business partnering capacity to support client account teams in providing insights that drive informed decision making.
  • Support the Finance Director – Marketing services in delivering the objectives of the client accounting finance function.
  • Production of period and year-end results for relevant client account teams, including producing management analysis, highlighting variances, trends, and impacts on the annual business plan and quarterly forecasts.
  • Business partner with client account directors to prepare and analyze the monthly job tracker to gross margin level.
  • Post-month end de-brief with account directors, focusing on P&L performance, and variance analysis. Staff costs, and identified risks and opportunities.
  • Regularly review and actively support client account teams to manage working capital (Sales reserves, aged debt, and WIP).
  • Support client account teams in the timely preparation of forecasts and budgets, reviewing and challenging assumptions.
  • Work collaboratively with client account teams, ensuring they are aware of the financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Partake in regular meetings with client account directors, acting as the prime point of contact for the finance department.
  • Undertake financial analysis and reporting as requested.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required in line with the remit of the role.

Requirements:

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE.
  • Knowledge of SAGE Intacct, or similar, finance platform preferable but not essential.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
