We are excited to announce an opening for a Bid Manager within our Support Services Team at Norse Group, focusing on our Property Consultancy Services and Hard FM sectors. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the formal tendering process, working collaboratively with team members to craft compelling proposals while ensuring compliance with Group policies.
As a leader, you will mentor and guide Bid Writers and administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment that encourages growth and continuous enhancement. Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to established timelines to guarantee timely submission of high-quality bids.
- Conducting market research to identify trends and pricing strategies that will strengthen the company’s competitive edge, in close coordination with Senior Management.
- Actively seeking and managing upcoming contract tenders and opportunities aligned with the Group's commercial objectives.
- Collaborating with Business Development Managers to create tailored sales proposals as necessary.
- Evaluating and reporting on bid outcomes to the Bid Director to support ongoing improvement initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in the Bid Writing domain, alongside:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing bid processes and employing effective bidding techniques.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant service lines, including Design, Surveying, Estate Management, Project Management, Building Compliance, and Property Maintenance.
- Strong team leadership abilities, with a proven track record in coaching, developing, and mentoring bid professionals.
- Capability to perform under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and maintain flexibility in prioritizing a varied workload.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
