The Position:

Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing the People strategy within our Retail teams. As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will support our retail operations while advancing your HR career. Collaborating closely with the Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide strategic HR assistance, enhance organizational effectiveness, and cultivate a positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to learn and make a meaningful contribution in the HR domain. You will leverage your exceptional communication, coaching, and influencing abilities to empower Line Managers and promote consistency and best practices.

Location: Field-Based

Contract: 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Compensation: £40,000 plus car allowance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing strong internal stakeholder relationships through effective communication and visibility in the field, whether in our Stores, Distribution Centre, or Support Centre.
  • Exhibiting strong professional credibility and nurturing ongoing relationships as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders.
  • Collaborating closely with the Employee Relations Advisor and Senior HR Business Partners to address employee inquiries, resolve conflicts, and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Supporting our comprehensive talent and succession planning processes alongside the recruitment strategy by participating in the hiring process, conducting interviews, and working with hiring managers to attract top talent.
  • Assisting in the implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and development plans.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards by staying informed about HR laws and regulations, and aiding in policy development and communication.
  • Supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction, including conducting engagement surveys and action planning.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and generating reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and recruitment statistics.
  • Contributing to HR projects and initiatives by providing research, analysis, and administrative support as required.
  • Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and other team members to deliver integrated HR solutions that align with business objectives.
