Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Personal Advisor within the Through Care service. This role is pivotal in supporting care leavers and ensuring they achieve positive outcomes.

As a Senior Personal Advisor, you will collaborate closely with a Team Leader, taking the lead in fostering development and contributing to successful transitions for young individuals leaving care.

The Through Care service focuses on assisting looked-after children and care leavers, providing a unique and impactful role for a Senior Personal Advisor.

Employment Type:

This position is a fixed-term contract for a duration of six months.

Please note that this role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, and successful appointment will depend on a satisfactory police records check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking individuals who have completed or are willing to pursue a Personal Adviser accreditation course.

Candidates should possess substantial experience working effectively with young people in care or those with a care history, particularly those exhibiting a variety of needs and potential risk-taking behaviors.

Experience in supporting care leavers with complex needs is essential.
