Position Overview

Lead Manager needed for a Children's Care Facility.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee our dual-service home, providing support for up to six young individuals, typically aged between 11 and 16 years.

Compensation

Salary range: £45,000 - £50,000 plus performance-based bonuses, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the residential service.
  • Ensure high standards of care and therapeutic support are maintained.
  • Supervise and mentor care staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular audits and manage budgets effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations governing children's residential services.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of two years' experience working with young people in a residential care setting.
  • At least one year of experience in a managerial role, either as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager.
  • Proven ability to supervise and manage care staff.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations related to children's homes and the social care inspection framework.
Personal Attributes

We are looking for an innovative leader who has experience with Ofsted registration or is an experienced deputy ready to take on the challenge of managing a registered home.
