Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Vulnerable Adults Team in West Essex. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and managing complex social care needs, working with adults and their families to ensure they receive the support they require to live independently.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage complex social care needs, including risk assessment and management
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and statutory agencies to ensure a joined-up approach
- Develop and lead on complex cases, providing specialist advice and guidance
- Contribute to the development of care and support plans for adults
- Manage a caseload of adults with complex needs, including assessment of risk through direct work
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified social worker with current Social Work England registration and at least 2 years of post-qualified experience. You will also need to have a proven track record of working with complex cases and a strong understanding of the Care Act.
We are looking for a proactive and experienced social worker who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with adults and their families in a sensitive and respectful manner.
