**Job Overview:**

Team Jobs - Strategic Accounts is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a leading provider of avionics, engines, and systems for aircraft manufacturers and airlines, including military and space operations, we require an individual with expertise in manufacturing engineering within the aerospace industry.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive overall product and process improvements, as well as product integrity on existing products.
  • Support the development and introduction of new products in line with Company IPDS 2.0.
  • Drive and deliver any prototypes for process or design validation, as qualification hardware.
  • Get back to standard any defect issues in a prompt manner.
  • Lead and coordinate cell manufacturing activities between Product Engineers, Operations, ME, and Quality and Manufacturing Assurance team.
  • Plan, deploy, monitor, and control site-level improvement initiatives to drive Productivity (including Machining program wiring and verification and fixture's design).
  • Support customer and supplier communications to improve product quality and delivery.

**Requirements:**

  • Technical expert for products manufactured and processes within their cell(s).
  • Proven experience within the general application of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing.
  • Previous experience of participating in and actioning continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience of PFMEA is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

**Note:** This position is subject to meeting the eligibility conditions of export control licenses and technical assistance agreements. Mandatory Requirements: Full BPSS Screening (Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check (UK DBS), and Drugs Screening.
