Position Summary
Job Title: Support Worker
Hours: 33 hours including 2 overnight shifts
Shift Schedule: 3-week rotation covering Monday through Sunday
P3 is seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to assist in transforming the lives of those experiencing homelessness. The role of Support Worker involves working with individuals who may be facing challenges such as homelessness, substance misuse, mental health issues, or a history of criminal behavior.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with those we support to foster independence, providing both practical and emotional assistance. Responsibilities include developing support plans and conducting risk assessments. The position is based in our hostel, requiring overnight stays, while also necessitating travel within the region to provide community support. Flexibility may be required to cover shifts, sometimes with short notice.
