Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Community Works Team as a Trainee Property Maintenance Operative. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to learn a range of new skills and abilities, including plastering, brick laying, garden maintenance, plumbing, DIY, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of properties, including plastering, brick laying, and other related tasks.
  • Learn and develop skills in garden maintenance, plumbing, DIY, painting and decorating, carpentry and joinery.
  • Work collaboratively with the Community Works Team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Full Driving License (or working towards obtaining one)
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a small team
  • Passion, commitment, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (paid for by The Oaklea Trust)
