About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Gi Group Operations team. As a key member of our recruitment division, you will be responsible for driving business growth and leading a team to exceed personal and organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Implement strategies to develop and expand our brand and recruitment services within temporary and permanent recruitment.
  • Client Management: Continually meet and exceed the expectations of clients with their temporary and permanent recruitment needs.
  • Performance Management: Ensure the company hits its strategic targets around regional growth and profit maximisation.
  • Team Leadership: Monitor and ensure performance and personal development of all team members.
  • New Business Growth: Grow the business through new and existing clients, deliver the budget.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence with own vehicle is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, relationship building and networking skills are essential.
  • Recruitment Experience: Experience gained within recruitment, ideally within the industrial sector.
  • Leadership Skills: A self-starter to achieve tasks and overcome problems as well as provide direction for others.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills are required.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience or abilities are necessary.
