Position Summary:

We are in search of a passionate Line Cook who is committed to upholding exceptional standards of food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire for continuous improvement and excellence in culinary practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in assigned kitchen areas
  • Guide and train junior kitchen personnel on proper food handling techniques
  • Assist in menu creation as required
  • Prepare high-quality dishes consistently
  • Control food portions and ingredients to meet cost management goals
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations during food preparation

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a culinary environment
  • Organized and methodical approach to working under pressure
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Capability to provide and accept constructive feedback
  • Food Safety certification level 2 or equivalent

Upon joining, you will participate in online training modules designed to enhance your expertise in areas such as Health and Safety and Food Hygiene. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to support your success in this role.
