Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will lead the procurement and supply chain function to execute timely and cost-effective purchasing of production and consumable materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement and supply chain function to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements
- Significant relevant experience in a progressive manufacturing environment.
- Demonstratable management skills to ensure supply chain alignment and motivate team members.
- Effective time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Broad commodities expertise and knowledge relevant to aerospace seat build.
- Relevant experience in negotiation and implementation of legal contracts.
- Conversant with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes.
- Good interpersonal skills to deal with commercial supplier organizations.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, VA/VE, and lean/continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to present data effectively at all levels of the business.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- CIPS accreditation or relevant related degree.
Desirable Requirements
- Mandarin language capability.
