Job Advert - Division Information

Priory Adult Care stands as the UK's foremost independent provider of specialized adult care services. Our mission is to deliver tailored support in suitable environments for all individuals we serve.

We operate community-based residential care facilities and a network of supported living services, assisting adults over the age of 18 with conditions such as autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Additionally, we provide a variety of residential and nursing care options for older adults with diverse needs.

Job Advert Role Description

Bank Only

We are eager to expand our committed and skilled team of support assistants at our facilities.

The Bungalow offers specialized assistance for adults with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and various medical needs. The individuals we support may occasionally exhibit challenging behaviors.

Our service provides round-the-clock support, and staff members are expected to deliver the necessary assistance to empower individuals to achieve their personal goals, enhance their self-esteem, and develop the skills required for independent living. We understand the significance of choice, particularly for those with autism and Asperger's syndrome, and we strive to guide individuals in understanding decision-making and its implications.

Do you believe in the right of every individual to receive exceptional care and support?
Are you motivated to create a meaningful impact in the lives of others?
Do you aspire to assist individuals in realizing their goals and aspirations?

We share this belief and are dedicated to providing outstanding care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. As a support assistant, you will have the chance to contribute to countless inspiring stories of care and support for our residents.

Our determination and resilience during challenging times have enabled our service users to navigate difficulties, raising awareness of our team's efforts. The role of a Support Assistant has never been more fulfilling, allowing you to witness the positive changes you can facilitate.

By making a difference in the lives of others, we can also enhance your own. Our Career Pathway offers you the opportunity to build a successful career in Social Care, allowing you to choose your own journey within this rewarding field, from Support Assistant to Management and beyond.

Our ideal support assistant will:

- Be dependable, compassionate, and nurturing to help our service users achieve their daily objectives (including personal care)
- Assist with in-house activities and hobbies
- Be attentive and motivate our service users to reach their full potential
- Exhibit resilience and effectively manage challenging behaviors

While drivers can take residents on outings, being a driver is not a requirement for employment – we welcome many non-drivers as well.
