Nights Care Assistant

We are a small residential care home for older people a warm friendly "home from home" for our residents giving person centered care to a very high standard. We are presently looking to enhance our team by recruiting a **compassionate** Sleeping Nights Care Assistant on a permanent basis to cover sleeping night duties to include alternate weekends.
This role is ideal for an inexperienced Care Assistant who is looking for a new opportunity, and a slower pace, working from 21 to 35 hours on a flexible basis to include evenings and Sleeping nights with the occasional needs to cover waking nights for holidays.
As a Holistic Care Assistant, you will be an ambassador of our home at all times and always promoting a professional and caring image of the home whilst championing our 7 core values; Caring, Compassion, Kindness, Patients, Professionalism, Positivity and Respect.
The role is vital as you are the most important part of our offering. You will be:
- Able to demonstrate a genuine desire to deliver high quality compassionate person centered care, even if it takes a bit longer.
- You will always be respectful of residents' choices, dignity and independence.
- You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships.
You will be responsible for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the residents you support, this will include but not be limited to:
- Help with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
- Help with mobility around the home.
- Prepare, and/or serve snacks and drinks.
- Generally keeping the home clean and tidy
- Provide Companionship

- Pay rate is from £10.70ph and 11.00ph depending on experience.

**We Require**:

**Salary**: £10.70-£11.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
