About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behaviour Support Coordinator to join our team at Beechwood College, a specialist education service for Autistic individuals. As a Behaviour Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based behavioural and therapeutic interventions to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to person-centred plans, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans, across all areas of the college.
  • Work in a support worker role, providing guidance and support to students and staff.
  • Conduct clinical work, including reviewing PBS plans, conducting observations, and carrying out psychometric outcome measures.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team, including the Clinical Psychologist, to promote positive change and outcomes for students.
Requirements
  • Interest in and commitment to the practice of clinical psychology.
  • Awareness of current policy agendas relating to person-centred practice, values-based practice, and the need for services to continually focus on reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Previous experience in working in services for people with Autism is an advantage.
