- Manage contract negotiations, securing favorable terms while minimizing risks.
- Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow to maintain financial stability and meet financial objectives.
- Work closely with project teams to identify opportunities for value engineering and cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
- Lead commercial negotiations and conflict resolution efforts to achieve beneficial outcomes for our organization.
- Conduct thorough analyses of project specifications, drawings, and requirements to accurately estimate material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals that align with client expectations and project goals.
- Utilize industry-leading software and methodologies to generate accurate estimates and cost forecasts.
Cost Analysis Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs and measurements to accurately assess project scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for tender submissions and project planning.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering assessments to optimize project budgets and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and expenditures, identifying and addressing cost variations and discrepancies.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, variations, claims, and cost control strategies to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial operations, estimating, and cost analysis within the steelwork fabrication sector.
- Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial negotiation techniques.
