About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Hays Accounts and Finance. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial data
  • Assist with financial planning and budgeting
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
