Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with practical life skills. Experience with children or in health and social care is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided. A full UK driving license is preferred due to the nature of the role.

What We Offer:

  • Overtime compensated at an enhanced rate.
  • 224 hours of annual leave.
  • Opportunities for career-enhancing qualifications and clear progression pathways.
  • Full enhanced DBS checks for children and adults, covered by CareTech UK.
  • A 10-day paid intensive induction training course, combining face-to-face and online learning to support your development.
  • 3-5 paid shadowing shifts with an experienced Support Worker or Team Leader.
  • Guaranteed enrollment in an NVQ in Children and Young People's Workforce, a nationally recognized qualification in the field of children's residential services, fully funded by CareTech UK.
  • Free onsite parking and meals provided during shifts.
  • Company events, fundraising, and social activities.
  • Long service annual leave.
  • A referral scheme for friends.

We are committed to providing ongoing support and development opportunities from our leadership team. Please note that we do not offer work sponsorship. Enhanced DBS and reference checks will be conducted in accordance with government regulations and best practices for safer recruitment.

At CareTech UK, we are dedicated to ensuring that all young people have their needs met fairly and equitably. Our employees are responsible for promoting equal opportunities and challenging any discriminatory behavior or practices.
