Nurse - Clinical Case Manager

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our team in a dynamic and fulfilling role. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for nurses to transition from a clinical setting to a UK office-based position, while continuing to apply their valuable nursing expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a Monday-Sunday nursing service, offering an efficient, cost-effective, and clinically appropriate service to Healix clients.
- Manage new and ongoing emergency medical assistance, claims, and repatriation cases, working with coordinators and the wider organisation using problem-solving expertise.
- Offer non-diagnostic medical advice directly to policyholders and Medical Helpline clients.
- Provide clinical input to the OH team in the medical assessment of individuals pre-deployment, utilising knowledge to reduce risk to those overseas.
- Act as a point of escalation, using expert nursing knowledge to address patient, client, team member, or overseas clinician concerns.
- Provide emergency airline employee health services.
- Check equipment on return from repatriations and air ambulances, ensuring sufficient supplies are available to manage the repatriation workload.
- Hold a current NMC Pin and have been working at (band 5 or above) with a minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience.
- Basic IT skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment, as well as directly with clients.
- Capacity to work independently, planning and managing their caseload.
- Experience working within a government, military, or overseas environment, or medical insurance, assistance sector, or repatriation experience.
