Join Wirral Borough Council as a Social Worker

We are seeking experienced and dedicated social workers to join our team in Wirral, a vibrant and energetic community that is passionate about making a difference. As a social worker with Wirral Borough Council, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience in child protection, assessment, and intervention. You will work closely with children, young people, and their families, developing child-centred, co-produced plans that reflect their aspirations and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and interventions to support children and families
  • Develop and implement child-centred plans to promote positive outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective support
  • Provide guidance and support to children and families to help them achieve their goals
