Elysium Healthcare seeks a dedicated Associate Specialist/Specialty Doctor to join our esteemed CAMHS team at Brighton and Hove Clinic.

In this role, you will contribute to delivering exceptional clinical care within our specialized eating disorder service. You'll collaborate closely with the Consultant, ward manager, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments, formulating treatment plans, and providing ongoing care for young people diagnosed with eating disorders.
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues through handover procedures and gathering relevant collateral information.
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation in a timely manner to ensure accurate patient records.
  • Delivering high-quality treatment under the guidance of a Consultant Psychiatrist, adhering to established protocols and best practices.
  • Evaluating referrals and conducting comprehensive mental state examinations to assess patients' needs.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Valid registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).

  • A recent appraisal demonstrating your commitment to professional development.
  • Relevant experience in Psychiatry is highly advantageous.
  • Experience working in a similar environment is preferred.
