Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aftersales Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Applications Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and roadmaps to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Manage tender delivery and project costings.
  • Support project teams during implementation phases with technical leadership.
  • Actively build relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or applications engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of general engineering, machine building processes, and project lifecycle.
  • Ability to conceptualize complex automation solutions.
  • Technical competence with various software programs, such as Microsoft office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience of operating at a senior strategic level with a proven level of commercial awareness.
  • Developed coaching and team management skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Relevant degree or vocational education in an engineering discipline.
  • Good commercial acumen and understanding of market pricing and competitor influence.
