Senior Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to play a key role in the success of our large building projects. This is an exciting opportunity to take your career to the next level with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience) and a range of benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Price bills/schedules analytically and produce quote comparisons using Conquest estimating software
  • Complete tender pricing for adjudication by the tender committee, including reporting on any risks or onerous conditions
  • Review clients' pricing schedules to understand the linkage/formulae in arriving at the net price
  • Build up's of cost of resources for all activities, supervision and other on-costs'
  • Build up' a fee table in the case of framework contracts
  • Management of risk register
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge of labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors
  • Manage enquiries for labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors
  • Conducting feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
  • Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project
  • Prepare information for handover to the contract team
  • Measure tender against Decision Analysis
  • Inform Tender Committee on Contract Conditions
Requirements
  • Experience with estimating software, ideally ConQuest
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry
  • Car Allowance

  • Private Health care
