Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and expansion of our business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key clients. Understand their compliance needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities. Use these insights to inform business development strategies and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company goals. This includes setting sales targets, developing pricing strategies, and identifying potential revenue streams.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of proposals and presentations for prospective clients, ensuring they highlight the unique value of our services.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our services and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through project completion.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback. Use this data to refine business development strategies and improve overall performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the health & safety, compliance, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of property compliance services, including health & safety, security, asbestos, and legionella management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
