Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our team at our office in Colchester. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our employees, management, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  • Liaise effectively with external advisors and organizations to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage time off requests, absences, and onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Drive forward social value goals and initiatives to promote employee engagement and well-being.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee experience, retention, and productivity.
  • Produce regular reports to senior management and the Directors on HR-related metrics and trends.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Represent the company at careers fairs and engagement events to promote our apprenticeship programs and employer brand.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Proven experience in HR, with a strong understanding of employment law, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
