The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned and certified field-based Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, possessing a proven track record in the industry.

With a UK operation that serves a distinguished clientele, including top brands in the automotive, aerospace, agriculture, and construction sectors, such as BMW, JCB, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, Caterpillar, and others, this role is pivotal.

Key Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer Role:

  • Practical field experience as an electrical and/or mechanical engineer, particularly in capital plant or process industries, preferably in chemical settings.
  • Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications.
  • Willingness to travel away from home, sometimes at short notice, including weekends.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Providing service and maintenance for various process plants and equipment.
  • Responding to faults and incidents across the customer network.
  • Carrying out onsite commissioning tasks.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Leading or supporting small project initiatives.
  • Completing and submitting all work-related documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Exhibiting a positive attitude towards team members and clients.
  • Engaging in regular training and development opportunities.

Compensation and Hours: £35,000 - £40,000 annually, with a work schedule of 35.5 hours per week - Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 4.15pm.
