We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on various machinery, including Fillers, Conveyors, Packaging machines, ovens, labellers, and more.
  • React to breakdowns of any kit on site and work to get the site up and running again.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.

Requirements:

  • A recognized engineering qualification, such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or production support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What We Offer:

  • An annual salary of £48,150.
  • Overtime pay at 1.0x at weekends.
