Location: Newcastle

Salary: £75 - £100 per day

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs in school settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their educational goals.
  • Lesson Planning: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and socialization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: A recent graduate with a degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Interest in SEN: Genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or volunteering with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
