We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Manager to join our team at esure. As a key member of our Pricing team, you will play a critical role in delivering significant improvements to our pricing models, capability, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate the use of advanced modelling and analytical techniques to identify and implement groundbreaking improvements to our pricing algorithms.
- Utilize deep knowledge of pricing, modelling, and price optimisation to deliver uplift in model outcomes.
- Lead major modelling projects from inception to implementation, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Interpret data and MI to identify challenges and opportunities, presenting actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Own sign-off meetings with senior staff, gaining approval for recommended changes and articulating business benefits, risks, and methodology used.
- Manage, empower, and develop a team of Analysts through mentoring, coaching, and upskilling on technical ability.
- Ensure all implemented models adhere to regulatory and fair value measures, escalating and owning any breaches.
- A passion for data analysis and drawing meaningful insights to inform business decisions.
- Experience in a Pricing Manager role with extensive knowledge of UK Motor or Home insurance products/markets.
- Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, lead, and mentor a team.
- Significant experience in delivering statistical models, e.g. GLMs, GBMs, or other relevant techniques.
- Strong governance awareness to ensure models adhere to regulatory and fair value measures.
- Experience with Radar and other insurance pricing software, such as Emblem.
- Good experience with statistical software, including SQL, SAS, or Python.
